Royal Copenhagen Trivet

Stock Number 3917

This is a Royal Copenhagen trivet designed by Kari Christensen and produced by the Alumina Factory in 1969, the last year that the Alumina mark was used by Royal Copenhagen, denoted by the U under the K in Denmark. We know this is a trivet because it has four feet moulded into the base so that heat is not transmitted directly to the surface it is placed on. The design is 176 and the shape is 2901. There are no signs of repair or restoration visible to the naked eye but there is evidence of both age crazing and wear as you would expect on a vintage item.

Width maximum 12.5cm
