Josef Simon
Josef Simon was born in Hungary in 1934, He fled Hungary in 1957 having been arrested following his involvement in the Hungarian revolution. He eventually found his way to Sweden in 1958. He studied Fine Art at the Stockholm institute (Konstfack) where he was taught by Stig Lindberg. With Lindberg's assistance he went to work at the Soholm Factory on Bornholm. 1971 he set up his own studio in Djursholm Sweden, where he had lived since 1967.
