Was opened in the late 1940s by Per Linnemann-Schmidt and Annelise Linnemann-Schmidt they took their initials and the Danish (Hus) for house to form the name. Their earliest products follow the minimalist forms and simple decoration of the Scandinavian style. The forms and the glazes were certainly the stars. The matt finishes of their Hasfur style glazes is exquisite. In the later period of there producyion they brought in chamotte bodies and incised repetitive decoration. In the late 1960 Annelise died and shortly afterwards, in the early 1970s, Per Linnemann-Schmidt closed the workshop and returned to his original training in drawing and sculptor.
